Finding Me Wherever I May Be

(Government Camp, Oregon) April 1st was the start of a new beginning for me. I left my home, job, and many friends behind on my cozy mountain town of Government Camp, Oregon. Since then I spent two weeks floating around the Portland area visiting many friends and to some of my favorite places. The 15th of April some of my favorite people, my fluffy Juku and I went out to Beverly Beach on the Oregon Coast to have final hoorah before making my way back to my hometown of Reno, NV.  (Devils Punch Bowl, Oregon) Juku, my friend Jere and I took the 101 down stopping at various coastal spots, taking the magnificent Avenue of the Giants in California, gawking at the giant red woods. Our third and final stop on the road being in Napa California to see some friends. (Avenue of the Giants, California) Since April 18th I have been in Reno, Nevada spending time with my family, friends, and going on awesome adventures. Finding Me Wherever I Maybe Says Sawatdeeka From Chiang Dao I decided to head to the jungle to relax before Loy Krathong in Chiang Mai. For the next couple of nights I have myself my own cute little bungalow at the Chiang Dao Hut. From Chiang Mai I caught a Tut Tut for 100 BAHT, taking me to the Chang Puak Bus station where I hoped on the orange bus for 40 BAHT. On this 3 hour adventure through towns, past lovely temples and rolling hills I made my first friend Paul.  Bus to Chiang Dao Upon arrival in Chiang Dao we took a taxi to my little bungalow for 70 Baht a piece.  Paul unfortunately went back to town but later picked me up on for my first moped ride.  We just road around the jungle at first before heading to explore the Chiang Dao Cave of Wat Tham. When walking up to the cave we turned a little too soon taking us on a mini trek through the jungle and exploring up the stairs to what seemed to be an abandoned building.  Once back on track...

It all starts with a jar...  For me it was a pickle jar(I have this habit where I don't like things finding their way to landfills so I find a way to avoid that when I can)... I started covering thus jar with stickers and began adding change too from my tips bartending, the café I work at, and the coins left over from paying cash.  My problem with the jar was that I kept taking the change out of it for various reasons until the beginning of June of this year when I seriously started putting change in this jar and not taking out of it.  In that short 4 months I racked up $79.26 after the $2 fee at Clackamas County Bank! That potentially could build up to $320 if you don't touch it for a full year! The this concept is great. All you have to do is find a jar/container to add all the change to it until it's completely full and then cash it in for your next big adventure!
