Finding Me Wherever I May Be

Arriving in Bangkok I hopped in a taxi from the airport to the Jeesnail Guesthouse where I would be staying for the night. My room was not ready yet so they held my bag and I set foot to the nearby market to find food to feed my hungry belly. T he market was about a 150 meter walk from the guesthouse and rather large containing fresh produce, meat and food stands. I browsed each isle seeing what all the stands had to offer before settling on some vegetarian dumplings and some sort of juice. A Stroll Down the Oldest Road in Bangkok Upon returning to Jeesnail my room was ready and I rested up briefly before my explorations.  Once I was ready to take on the city I headed out with the help of my hosts directions along with best way to execute my afternoon evening and off I went. A Special Place in My Heart What an experience I had in Chiang Mai for only 4.5 days there and barely scratched the surface. I spent most of my time within the walls of the Old City while here wandering the streets, going in and out of shops, getting all sorts of different food and smoothies from many different places, partaking in activities, meditating in Wat Pha Bong Temple, and just enjoying myself at my own pace. The city really doesn't start to buzz until 08:00 and quiet hours start at 00:00 with the walls. You can find vintage shops, enjoy massages, leave the walls for outdoor excursions, and just meander around. There is so much to do and whether you are there for a few days or much longer so if you find yourself to this city one of these days(which you should) and you will not be disappointed.
